Release Day!

It's the day before launch - and whilst I've been busy doing lining up all the things I need to post, I wanted to just reflect a bit on the process a bit.

It's one thing to work on a long-term project for someone else (which I did as a day job until a few months back), and it's another to have one's own long-form projects (because of them being stuck in development hell). But it's one thing to have a small project of your own that you've managed to get out the door.

Part of that is down to constraints - I feel like I ran into a lot of them with NextBASIC whilst working on this, enough so that whatever I do next with the Spectrum Next will probably not be made using pure NextBASIC. Whether that's going down to be pure assembler or compiled BASIC (through the Boriel compiler) I'm not sure of, but having the options is a good thing.

At the end of the day though, there's only one thing I'd like to ask: if you've spent time with this, I'd love to hear some feedback - it's been hard to shake the feeling that creating things online is like flying blind and some feedback (particularly of a technical nature if you're experienced with NextBASIC and looked at the source) can certainly help for text time.
